Welcome to the City of Frisco Texas.  Frisco established it's first post office in 1902 as it became a center of commerce for cotton gins and grain elevators for the railroad.  Named after the St. Louis, San Francisco and Texas Railway Company,  Frisco became home of the Farmers Co-operative Gin Associatioin. 

Now Frisco is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S.  Home of a family lifestyle with a progressive parks and recreational, you'll enjoy the hike and bike trails and community atmosphere.  Located 20 north of Downtown Dallas, Frisco has 3 major traffic arteries that serve it's residence for travel to DFW Airport, to Dallas and Dallas Love Field. A progressive school system continues to strive to meet the needs of the community.  Collin County Community College has located one of it's campuses in Frisco.

The Dr. Pepper/Seven-Up Ballpark in Frisco accommodates over 10,600 fans and is home to the Frisco RoughRiders Double-A baseball team, an affiliate of the Texas Rangers.

The Dr. Pepper Star Center arena is the training facility for the Dallas Stars hockey team and the home for the Texas Tornado Junior Hockey League Champions. And for ice skaters of all ages and skill levels, The Ice at Stonebriar, an NHL–sized ice rink located in Stonebriar Centre, offers classes and public skating.

Frisco is now the home for the FC Dallas major league soccer team at Pizza Hut Park. With 20,372 seats, the Park opened in 2005 and is surrounded by 17 tournament-size soccer fields. The Park also serves as a football stadium for Frisco ISD and is available for concerts, public entertainment.
