After the hot summer in Dallas you will welcome the site of "Big Tex."  You ask "who is Big Tex?"  He is the 5 story mascot of the State of Texas Fair.  Starting in late September and running for 3 weeks.  Covering over 227 acres, the State Fair host 70-75 amusement rides, 370,000 sq. ft. of exhibit halls, 200 food vendors with everything from hotdogs to turkey legs.  This is a great way to spend the day in the Fall.
